Arena Park Baptist Church Work Ethics.

The entire church will operate on the Biblical code for holiness and the qualifications for all leadership posts will lean on 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 2.

The Senior Pastor is the Overseer and his position should be accorded the respect it deserves. A submissive spirit is necessary for service. Submission will be received only as it is given. All leaders should execute their duties based on the KPAs (Key Performance Areas) that highlight and outline their job description and their designated duties.

All leaders will be given the opportunity to state their side of the story in any issue or incident before any form of judgment is taken against them irrespective of what the issue at stake is.

Leaders who fail to perform according to designated duties will be notified in writing of a meeting with the elders to first assist and if the designated leader is still not able to perform as prescribed they will be relieved of their position and a suitable replacement will be co-opted until another AGM.

The Eldership Board will sit as the Discipline Committee for all committees and leaders within the church. An accusation against an Elder must be backed up by witnesses and only then will any meeting be held to discuss such matters. In grave cases against an elder the Executive of the Baptist Mission will appoint a committee to either resolve the matter or execute the necessary discipline for the benefit of the church. (1 Timothy 5: 19).
